Where is the Toad Hill Farm?
 The Toad Hill Farm sits approximately 5 miles from the center of Franconia, in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Less than 3 hours from Boston or Montreal and 1.5 hours from Concord, it is a completely different world. With Cannon Mountain less than 10 minutes away and hiking trails at every turn, Franconia is perfectly situated for every season. Surrounded by seemingly endless miles of National Forest and natural glory, the farm graces the top of Toad Hill, allowing the visitor to experience a spectacular view and wonderful setting for his/her special occasion. With the intimacy of a private location yet the unrestricted natural surroundings, it is one of the best kept secrets of the area.
When is the Toad Hill Farm available and what does it cost?
Since the venue is outside and the weather can get a little chilly, our season runs from Memorial Day to about Labor Day. For the very hearty, we would consider an event up until Columbus Day! The Toad Hill Farm hosts only one event per week, usually on the weekend. Please contact us for specific availability and rates. We honor a first come/first served policy. We will certainly do our best to accommodate your choice of date.
What do we get for our money?
 Good question! Easily the most beautiful location for the most wonderful day. We provide the location for the reception (in the former horse paddock) and unlimited parking in our adjacent fields. There is a gravel road leading into the paddock which can be utilized for the convenience of anyone with disabilities or for the arrival of the bridal party. The reception site can accommodate even the largest tent and toilets can be placed off in the corner of the paddock, easily accessible but out of sight. While we do not provide the tent or toilets, we can arrange for these through local vendors for an additional charge. The 3 bay horse stable which sits in the paddock has water and electric for the use of your caterer and/or bartender. Our stable does not include horses, but they are available through local vendors.
 Does the Toad Hill Farm coordinate or plan my wedding?
Presently, we are solely offering the location for your wonderful occasion. We have provided links for local caterers, florists, entertainment and rental equipment, but do not participate in the planning process. We highly recommend using local talent, as they are familiar with the area and offer a broad range of options. If you do not have a wedding coordinator/planner, we highly suggest Wendy Manning on our Local Vendors page. We have had personal experience using her services and find her professional and creative, as well as friendly and highly motivated.
What about lodging and dining?
In May of 2008, we opened the Main House for rental in addition to the venue site. For a detailed description, please visit our Main House page.  For your other guests, we have included a brief description of local accommodations and/or dining. The outbuildings on the Toad Hill Farm are currently not included in the rental of the venue, with the exception of the 3 bay horse stall located in the formerpaddock. The main house and flower gardens provide wonderful photo opportunities as does the panoramic view and drive through the maple grove to the site.
